FONTANA, Calif. (KABC) -- Two schools were locked down in Fontana at about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday due to a suspicious package. According to Fontana Police, a contract worker found an item that looked like a bomb in a box on the 7300 block of Grace St. in Fontana. Police responding to the scene summoned the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Bomb Squad to investigate. Locust Elementary School and Alder Middle School were placed on lockdown as a precaution.
